Authenticity of this work has been confirmed by Barford Sculptures. Work was made from sitting at fourth Triangle Workshop, Pine Plains, Mashomack and cast by Tallix Foundry.
This work is illustrated and documented in the Dieter Blume book Figurative Sculptures, 1984-1989, Volume VIII on page 79. The work is documented as A017 in the catalog and the model for the sculpture is identified as Concetta Branson.
Provenance: Private Collection, Phoenix, Arizona acquired James Corcoran Gallery, Santa Monica, California which was consigned to them from the Acquavella Contemporary Art gallery in New York.
