One of fifteen color lithographs illustrating the text Le Lézard aux Plumes d’Or, a series of the artist’s own poems. Published by Louis Broder, Paris and printed at Atelier Fernand Mourlot, Paris. Mourlot 460.

In 1963, Joan Miro and his publisher Louis Broder embarked on the first edition of "Le Lézard aux Plumes d'Or", a series of 18 color lithographs to accompany a poem. However, due to defects in the manufacturing of the paper that affected the colors, the edition was cancelled.
